Get Coffee Bean Water Ratio

You've got fresh, quality coffee, a decent grinder and a good brewing setup, but you're just not satisfied with the instead of wasting time fiddling with settings, you can put just a little effort into find the right water to coffee ratio for you. Alex and i have found that our perfect chemex recipe is the ratio of 34 grams coffee and 520 grams water — which you'll see in the recipe below. The coffee to water ratio is only really important when it comes to filter brewing or to pour over and drip coffee making.
These compounds are known as coffee solubles.
I recommend a more coarse grind, and brewing in a cold environment for 12 to 16. If you reduce the ratio, for example to 1:14 or 1:13, the brew will be stronger. Bean to water ratio (self.coffee). For various sizes of coffee presses, the 1:18 ratio means different amounts of coffee to add.
